Acceptable:

Specimen Volume: 2.0 mL

Specimen Minimum Volume: 0.2 mL

Collection Instructions:

1. Allow serum tubes to clot completely. This may take up to 30 minutes.

2. Remove sample from cells by pipetting.

Female, Follicular: 1.8-11.8 mIU/ml

Female, Mid-Cycle: 7.6-89.1 mIU/ml

Female, Luteal: 0.6-14.0 mIU/ml

Postmenopause without HRT 5.2-62.0 mlU/ml

Male: 0.6-12.1 mlU/ml
